On just married, the movie

One of my favorite movies of all times is Just Married. In the film, I remember crying my eyes out when the main actor was yelling to the gate operator of his wife’s house to open the gate. It was such a moving scene. What I notice about American films, when the actors are playing the role of a rich person, they all have gates. Some of them are us automatic gates, and some are still with a wholesale gate operator of some sort. Going back to my favorite movie, I get so emotional with scenes that bring both lovers together after a time apart. It’s just so romantic and heartwarming. I suppose in real life these things don’t happen very often that’s why it is nice to dream on. Besides, in reality a lot of things don’t happen the way we want it to. All this talk makes me think I want to watch this movie on dvd again tonight!
Heart anything and everything chocolate

Last week before I headed off to Mauritius a good friend of mine and myself had indulged in real, honest to goodness sweet hot chocolate and some sinful chocolate cake which name escapes me. It was a last minute thing, after doing a bit of shopping around Pitt Street Mall, we decided to head to David Jones’ Max Brenner. The place was so tiny and it was packed with chocolate hungry, thirsty people. After having our choco fix, we were just so over chocolate! It was all so rich and thick. I am sure though that I would have it again one day, sometime soon. The thirst for Max Brenner is constant. Well, anything and everything chocolate of course! I am sure at some point we all are chocoholics at heart!

…in Malaysia!
Wouldn’t it be such a great thing if one was a music afficionado and a big fan of nature. This event would stimulate one’s ears and eyes.
UNIQUE EVENT DETAILS:
Venue: Rainforest at the Sarawak Cultural Centre, Sarawak, Malaysia
Dates: 11 to 13 of July, 2008
Adult Ticket cost: RM90 (or AUD 30) for 1 Day Pass or RM250 (or AUD80) for a 3Day Pass
This three day “forest and rock music” festival allows one to be part of different workshops, lectures, mini concerts, and jam sessions. All this plus a chance to mingle with local artists from Borneo and international artists too AND delicious food AND great music.
This rainforest is located 35 kilometres from Kuching City or a 45 minute drive. The total area of the festival is 17 acres! Huge! Last year the event gathered 22, 000 guests. Wonder how it will fare this year? I am pretty sure it will be as good if not better than last year’s. There are a number of international performers lined up as well, coming from: Brazil, UK, USA, Congo, Colombia, India, Japan, Philippines, Italy, etc.
When I was young I used to attend conferences quite similar to these, where music, nature tripping, food, and fellowship with other youth are the main attraction. I miss attending those things, but I suppose when one grows older priorities change.
Tickets to the Annual Rainforest Music Festival in Malaysia can be bought online from TicketCharge. Accommodation is available as well. Visit your preferred online sites or click on Octopus Travel, Wotif, or Asiatravel.
